French Art Deco Chandeliers, Pair
Circa early 1920’s, France

Rare (near) Pair of Early French Art Deco Chandeliers with 6 arms
each.
Stylized floral decoration, typical of the 1925 Paris Exposition.
Various textures and elegant details decorate the chandeliers.
Clear and frosted shades with floral decoration hang from scalloped
oval rings.
Dimensions: 26” diameter with shades. Top is 4 ½” wide.
Shades 5” high, 5” wide. Fixture height: 25” high.
These chandeliers can be installed by either suspending
from a decorative chain, or directly flush mounting to a flat
ceiling,
offering wonderful flexibility in installation options.
Please note: Upon closer examination we discovered that this is a
near pair,
the chandelier arm canopies and hanging rings are not identical.
The basic difference is the top canopy of each glass shade and the
scalloped oval ring that holds the shade canopy to the end of each
arm.
One chandelier has cast octagon shaped shade nickel canopies, the other has
nickel plated
pressed canopies that are round. The oval rings are slightly smaller
on one and not moveable,
as the other is larger and flexible.
