French Art Deco Silvered/cold painted Bronze Figural Statue
Circa 1920’s, France

 

Figural partial nude woman with Twenties era bob hairstyle and a green drape across her lower half.
Standing on her toes, with legs crossed, she is displayed on a two stepped green and black onyx
pedestal with a black onyx disc attached to the back. She is holding a black Bakelite ball that has
golden yellow spots. Although unsigned, she is a fine example of Art Deco period sculpture.

Dimensions: 14 7/8” high, 6” wide at base, 3 ½” deep at base.

Condition: In good original condition. Age appropriate wear to the silvered finish and green paint
on her draped skirt. The onyx base has several chips and old repairs. This piece was clearly well loved.
A new base can be made, or we can have this professionally repaired upon request.
