French Art Deco Figural Bronze Wildcat Bookends

Wonderful pair of silver plated bronze leaping cheetah or leopard bookends.
Very dimensional and detailed, with raised spots on the leopard, who is leaping over stylized foliage.
Signed in the metal twice on each bookend, on foliage and on inside leg of each cat; 'H. Moreau'.
Moreau was known as one of the animalier sculptors of the Art Deco era.
Mounted on the original green marble bases.

Dimensions (each):  6 1/8" wide, 4 1/2" high, 3 1/4" deep.

Condition: In excellent original condition. We have hand polished the silvered bronze statues.
