French Art Deco Pair of Bronze Racing Greyhound Bookends
Circa 1930's, France

 

Great pair of racing greyhound bookends.
Highly detailed, with great movement.
Two dogs featured on each bookend, cast in bronze, on the original tan marble bases.
Unsigned.

Dimensions (each): 6 3/4" wide, 4 1/2" high, 3" deep.

Condition: In good original condition.
The marble base have age expected flea bites.
One bookend has a repair on the underside of the base,
to reattach the threading for the screw that attaches the bronze statue to the base.
This same bookend has scratches that can be repaired, upon request.
