French Art Deco Wall Barometer / Thermometer
Circa 1920's, France

 

Unusual and rare lozenge shaped weather (Celsius) thermometer and bronze barometer.

Hand Carved wood frame with gesso and gilded in a two tone, 
genuine 18kt white and 24kt yellow gold leaf finish.

Overall angular shape with stylized floral accents framing the piece.
The square barometer is set on the diagonal, like a diamond.

Dimensions: 19" high, 8" wide.

Condition: In excellent restored (Sept 2009) condition.
