Rare and very unusual Rosewood
Dining table with Mahogany and Black lacquered accents.
Each corner of this rectangular
topped table features a figural Mermaid inlay made with exotic woods
and Mother of Pearl, linear detail connects the mermaids.
black lacquered trim also borders the tabletop on the apron/sides.
Each end pulls out with a small drawer for linens and acts as a
support for extension leaves
(leaves not included, but can be custom
made for an additional fee).
Unusual base design is constructed in a
double curved design with center stretcher.
decorative disc and sphere on each base,
with banding on the center
stretcher between the ends of the base.
Dimensions: Tabletop: 71 1/2" wide,
38 1/2" deep, 3 7/8" thick.
Extension leaves can be added at each end, adding up to 36" in
Base, 49" wide, 24" deep, 26" high.
Table is currently 28 3/4" high and
has a 24 7/8" high space between the floor and bottom of tabletop.

Condition: In excellent restored
condition (July 2009) with a French Lacquered finish.
