Wonderful and comfortable
pair of French Art Deco Club Chairs
framed in Macassar Ebony with reverse skyscraper, stepped feet.
Angular frame design, ideal for placing side-by-side in a seating group or
facing each other.
Just upholstered in a
ultra soft saddle brown leather that compliments the macassar ebony frames
perfectly.
Trimmed in individual shiny nickel nail heads that have been painstakingly
applied by hand,
as they would have been originally done. ( no tack strips were used )
The nail heads outline the side and back profiles as well as the inside
arms
and also border the macassar ebony base of the chair.

Dimensions: Arms 23 ¾” to
26 ¼” high, 33 3/4” high back, 29 ” deep,
26 ½” wide at front, tapering to 25” wide at back.
Seat: 21 1/2 ” deep, 20 ½ ’
wide at front, tapering to 17 '” at back.
19” high with new cushion. These will settle to 18" high once they have been
sat in several times!
Condition: The macassar
ebony frames have been restored with a high gloss French Lacquered finish.
(October 2008) Seat and all upholstery work has been complete restored,
the springs have been re-tied and new down filling in the cushions.
Re-upholstered in June 2009 with a high end, ultra soft designer leather in a
saddle brown color.
New, nickel nail heads with a polished and subtle satin finish that was hand
applied.
