French Art Deco Modernist Chairs / Bergeres, Pair
In the manner of Eileen Gray
Circa 1920's, France

Rare Pair of French Art Deco Boudoir chairs with
angular deep Mahogany/ Rosewood Frames.
Low seat cushions, typical of Art Deco period Boudoir chairs.
Curved back with an angular and dramatic frame profile.
Recently re-upholstered in a custom cut velvet
fabric,
that is a re-issue of the original fabric used.
Finished with a designer trim, in a twisted black and crème silk cord.
Dimensions: 24 3/4" Wide. 25 1/2" High
Back. 32" Deep.
Arms 21 1/2" High. Seat: 12" High. 20" Deep. 20 1/2" Wide.

Condition: Frame has the original high
gloss clear lacquered finish,
there are a few seam separations of the lacquer as expected for chairs
of this age.
The upholstery was re-done in recent years ( a re-issued design of the
original) and is in excellent condition.
Please note; the frames appear as black from a distance, but are
actually a deep rosewood color.
