French Art Deco Cerused

Circa late 1930's, France

Charming and elegant small
server cabinet.
Cerused (limed) Oak with polished nickel hardware details on the center
door.
Elegant, curved foot design with raised panels doors.
It has a soft to the touch, matte waxed finish.
A versatile piece, also ideal for use as a console table in a entryway,
under a flat screen TV or in an elegant bathroom to store towels and
toiletries.
Dimensions: 55 1/8” Wide,
40 ½” High, 17 ½” deep.
Interior: 15 ½” deep, door opening 11” on each side-15 ¼” wide inside,
each side, 26” high. Center has 2 drawers. Right and left side each have one
adjustable shelf.
Condition: In good overall
condition, damage exceptions: there is an old water ring
(probably from a vase o flowers) on the top right side (see photos below).
Chips on the corners of the front feet which can be sanded and finished smooth
(upon request).
This piece was refinished with a Cerused and waxed finish in January 2009.
Unfortunately they were not able to remove the water ring,
so the piece is sold as is, and is priced accordingly.
