Attributed to Marcel Guillemard.

This suite would be ideal for a Architect, Scientist, Freemason Enthusiast

This suite was a custom commission from the Primavera Design Studio
at Paris' premier department store, Au Printemps.
Features four unique exotic wood inlays featuring symbols from Architecture and the Sciences;
including compass', square, triangle,
a world globe, stars and the moon, a telescope and more.

Rare Secretary cabinet made of exotic Bur Amboina (now an extinct species of wood)
With a beautiful contrasting inlay in a diamond pattern on the drop front door and at the stair-stepped top, in a linear almost fluted pattern.
The top acts as a pedestal, ideal for placing an important vase or statue.

that have been expertly applied in a creative Modernist almost Harlequin like marquetry pattern, with inlay details and mother of pearl dots. 
Accented with Bold black lacquered hairpin legs and polished nickel accents.
The interior is beautifully finished in Sycamore or Mahogany

Cabinet features drop front bar or secretary cabinet with several storage compartments.
Desk or Dining table has pull out ends for leaves and a matching veneered tabletop.
Please note: due to sunlight glare the top appears darker in the photos;  the tabletop is a perfect match for the cabinet, with the identical marquetry work.

French Art Deco Dining Table

Rare and very unusual Rosewood Dining table with Mahogany and Black lacquered accents. Each corner of this rectangular topped table features a figural Mermaid inlay made with exotic woods and Mother of Pearl, linear detail connects the mermaids.

A raised black lacquered trim also borders the tabletop on the apron/sides. Each end pulls out with a small drawer for linens and acts as a support for extension leaves.
Unusual base design is constructed in a double curved design with center stretcher. Polished nickel decorative disc and sphere on each base, with banding on the center stretcher between the ends of the base.

Early transitional design between Craftsman and Art Deco.
Sleek exotic macassar ebony and delicate hand carved oak in an organic pattern
mix the best of both design worlds. Delicate Leaf and acorn details that were clearly hand
carved by a highly skilled craftsman.

Oak table top has a hand carved edge design on all four sides, with rounded corners.
The base is hand carved oak with macassar ebony side panels. Delicate leaves and
acorns are repeated on each base, front and back.
The design is remembered on the tabletop edge design.
