Intricate inlay work featuring a fall nature scene, of a bird wandering amidst
the fallen leaves.
Signed in the lower right hand corner, “Louis Majorelle, Nancy”
Beautifully hand carved side spindles that graduate in size and spiral
elegantly.
Open display areas for your finest collections. Single drawer with bronze spiral
pull.

Musee d’Orsay in Paris, France.

Stand or Music Stand
Provenance: Detroit Masonic Temple
Circa 1920's, American
Original solid cast Bronze
candlestick from the Detroit Masonic Temple.
Great detail and designs are imbedded into the base and candlestick collar.
Fluted post.
This was later added to with a hand crafted wood bookstand that inserts into the
top of the candlestick.
The wood book holder simply lifts out if you wish to use it as a floor
candlestick again.
Of course this also makes a great stand for sheet music too.
