Important French Art Nouveau Bedroom Suite, 9 pieces
by Gauthier - Poinsignon & Cie.
Exhibited at Le Salon d'Automne
Circa 1910, France
School of Nancy

Crafted in solid, hand carved pale cherry wood.
Maple leaves and figs are hand carved onto each piece.
The organic design is remembered on the decorative cast bronze, gilded door
and drawer hardware that adorns each cabinet piece.



  All original with the original French polished finish restored.
This is a suite for the serious Art Nouveau collector,
the strong design and fluid details have both masculine and feminine details..
It is one of the best suites we have ever seen and we are very pleased to have the opportunity to offer this museum quality suite to our clientele.

Art Nouveau Bedroom Suite, includes:

-European Full Size Bed - NOTE: ( if you forgo using the siderails, you could use the head /Foot board with an American Queen Size mattress/box spring.)

-Pair of Left and right nightstands

-Large 3 door armoire with center mirror

-Vanity with swivel mirror and drawers

-Pair of side chairs with Art Nouveau upholstered seats

-Round cherry wood chandelier with frosted glass panel

- A gold velvet wall tapestry with stenciled Maple Leaf & fig pattern that hangs on a twisted decorative iron rod, supported by two carved cherry wood wall brackets.
This was also exhibited, shown hung behind the bed.
The exhibition bedroom also featured a painted leaf motif border at the ceiling.

You may use an American Queen size bed with this is you forgo using the siderails
and attach the headboard and footboard directly to your metal bedframe.

Beautiful French Art Deco Armoire with cross hatched veneer pattern
in Rosewood and Mahogany.Center mirrored door, with adjustable interior shelf with 2 drawers.

Both pieces feature a Center inlay with a stylized floral medallion
that has mother of pearl accents.

Art Nouveau Carved Walnut Bed
Circa 1900, France

French Antique pair of twin beds created during the Art Nouveau era
to create a large (then) King size.
These were intended for use together, as the inside side rails were made without decoration,
unlike the outer side rails, that feature a flowing profile with raised decorative trim.
Classic Art Nouveau organic design details. Hand crafted of solid hand carved Walnut.
Flowing design theme with bamboo stalks and rounded leaves.
Includes, headboards, footboards and side rails.

Streamlined French Art Deco King Size Headboard with attached floating nightstands, Pair
In Macassar Ebony
Circa 1930’s, France

Exotic and Rare Macassar Ebony with a fresh French polished finish.
The radius curved floating nightstands attach to the headboard,
that has a stepped profile to emulate the popular skyscraper theme of the 1930’s.
Sleek design with curved edges on the inside edges of the nightstands
and on the headboard’s top edges.
The nightstands both feature swivel out drawers with polished chrome sphere pulls.

Below the swivel out drawer is an open shelf, ideal for books or a small decorative object.
We have had 2 custom 3/8” thick polished edge clear glass panels made to protect the macassar ebony tops of the nightstands.
