French Art Deco Figural Merman and Mermaid Bronze Door Handles

Wonderful and unique pair of figural male and female door handles to
grace a grand entry or bold furniture piece. You could even create lamps out of them.

2 pairs are available so you may use the 2 males and 2 females together,
or a male and female on each pair of doors.

Excellent conversation pieces. Cast in solid bronze with the original patina intact.
Both male and female figures have the scaled mermaid tails with flippers.
Both are topless with their arms folded to support a shell type of thumb rest on the tops of their heads.
Both have very stylized, flowing hair with a definite art deco wave. Highly detailed and very whimsical.

Although unsigned, these handles are the quality of a fine bronze statue and are a work of art in themselves.

One short threaded post that goes thru to attach to the door is still intact.
You may purchase these as shown, or,
our metal shop can make the size post (thickness for your door) needed for a minor fee.

Dimensions: 9 5/8” High,  3 1/8” Wide at elbows, 2 7/8” Projection at elbows.

Condition: In excellent original condition, patina intact.
