Pair of French Art Deco Figural Female Bronze Door Handles
Circa early 20th Century, France

 

Wonderful pair of figural female door handles to grace a grand entry or bold furniture piece.
Cast in solid bronze with the original patina intact.
She is wearing a long, flowing, strapless gown, with her left arm folded across her chest.
She has long hair and bold facial features.
The handles attach to doors at a square raised backplate that is at the feet of the figure.
Although unsigned, these handles are the quality of a fine bronze statue and are a work of art in themselves.

One threaded post that goes thru to attach to the door is still intact.

You may purchase these as shown, or, our metal shop can make new posts to the length needed,
for a minor fee. Backplate removes easily with screws on the backside.

Dimensions: 12 1/8” High, 1” wide at top to 3 ¾” Wide at bottom, 2 ¾” Projection.
Dimensions of the square backplate for door:  3 5/8” high, 3 ¾” wide.
