French Art Deco Iron Room
Divider Gate
Can also be converted into a King Size headboard or balcony
railing
In the style of Paul Kiss
Circa 1920’s, France

A four piece French Art Deco
period wrought iron interior gate, with side posts.
Design details
with stylized floral decoration and
Zig Zag design, in the manner of Paul Kiss.
Originally used as
an interior gate to separate formal
living areas of the home,
to protect fine furnishings and rugs
from pets and small children.
This can of course be used for the same purpose today, or can be
re-purposed to suite your
needs-as a king size bed headboard design, balcony insert or
wall decoration.
You may also use 2 panels to create a fireplace screen and frame
the fireplace with the other 2 panels,
backlit with frosted glass.
All of the pieces are in sections and can therefore be quite
flexible as far as positioning.
You may add hinges or latches to suit your new purpose.
To create a King Size headboard,
use the 4 panels only ( and store away the posts and looped
sections).
Consider backing it with frosted glass and back lighting for a
very dramatic, one-of-a-kind headboard.
