Re-using existing furnishings, and re-purposing architectural artifacts is a
great way to add warmth and character to your home, while helping to save the
planet. Later this summer 2008, we will be adding a special collection of
"green" earth friendly designer fabrics.
We
offer a wide range of merchandise from specific design periods: Biedermeier,
Baroque, Empire, Numerous French (Louis) periods, Art Nouveau, Art Deco,
Forties Moderne, Mid-Century Modern, and Contemporary. We do our best to
select the best examples possible from these iconic design periods to
furnish your space, whether it be in a specific style, or an eclectic mix of
design periods.
We sell: furniture, lighting, decorative objects, fine art,
architectural artifacts & antiques,
designer fabrics, estate jewelry, vintage
designer costume jewelry and offer a full service design studio.
We realize that your time is precious and appreciate that
you've taken the time to shop with us. Therefore we have designed this site
to be user friendly and easy to shop.
We feel very strongly about supplying as much information and many
photographs up front, so that you can make a quick and confident decision to
purchase. This
saves everyone time and prevents you from missing out on an item while emails
are traded back and forth. Therefore we post all information possible when
we post an item, including the best (lowest) net price.
We are always happy to answer any questions and provide more photos.
We sell
to private collectors as well as the design trade.
This
website serves as our online gallery. The majority of our merchandise is
displayed on this site. If you are in search of something and do not see it,
drop us a line, we may have it in our inventory and it simply may not have
been posted on the site yet.
We update on a daily basis and we designed, built and maintain this website
ourselves.
Decodame.com began as our Interior Design firm, 'Premier Designs', 22 years

15 years
ago we added the resale of antiques and Modern design to our business.
In 1993, we exhibited at the first Michigan Modernism Show. For the next 10
years, we
exhibited at important
Modernism
& Antique Shows across the U.S. You may
have met us at shows in one of these cities: Atlanta, NYC, Detroit, Miami
Beach, Chicago, LA, San Francisco, Brimfield, and Hollywood, CA. Currently we
no longer exhibit at shows as this website and our interior design schedule keeps us
very busy.
We have
been selling successfully from this website since January 1998. We are the
one and only owners of Decodame.com. We are not affiliated with any other
website, catalog or retail location.
We closed the Naples,
FL gallery - interior design studio in 1999. Without the obligation of a retail store
to run, this gave us more time to
travel
and purchase better merchandise from all over the world, not to
mention keeping this website updated with a weekly flow of new merchandise.
